This new sensory stones set from the Gonge brand consists of five sensory stepping stones made of different materials. Each stone has a surface of a different material; cork, aluminium, foam, rubber and concrete. As the surface of all sensory balance stepping stones differ in hardness, temperature, stickiness, roughness and texture, children experience all kinds of tactile sensations and learn about different materials. The sensory stones are based on stepping stones in a river, where children can jump from one tile to another without touching the ground.

Sensory stones - for home, nursery, schools and physio

This new version of the Gonge river stones is suitable for both free play and structured training. Children can play numerous fun games with these sensory stepping stones at home or, for example, in the garden. The sensory stones are very sturdy and stable and are suitable for intensive use. This also makes them ideal toys for schools and childcare facilities. Combine the set with the Gonge stepping stones and/or hilltops for a new experience in gym class. For physiotherapy, these sensory balance stones are also excellent exercise material. The slope of the surface increases pressure on the forefoot and enhances tactile stimulation.

Sensory stones - for tactile training and balance

The surfaces of the tactile stones can be touched and felt with the feet as well as with the hands. Different sensors in the skin are thus addressed. In addition, the inclined stones can be used to train balance on the different surfaces.
